Ghost net works from as far afield as Groote Eylandt and Erub were on display at Artisan Gallery in Brisbane.

2012 Artisan Gallery exhibition The Long Tide, curated by Tasha Finn, featured work from many indigenous communities working with ghost net. These included Aurukun, Pormpuraaw and Mapoon on Cape York Peninsula, Hammond, Moa and Darnley Islands in the Torres Strait, Mornington Island in the Gulf of Carpentaria and Groote Eylandt on the Northern Territory side of the Gulf of Carpentaria. Also featured were mainstream fibre artists Nalda Searles of Western Australia and Marion Gaemers of Townsville in Queensland both of whom facilitated workshops for GhostNets Australia in different communities.
