Category Winner 2 years in a row: 2006 (Water) & 2007 (Indigenous)

Since their inception in 1989, the Banksia Environmental Awards have earned the reputation as the most prestigious environmental awards in Australia. The awards acknowledge excellence, dedication and leadership in various areas that contribute to the environment and a sustainable future.

As winners, we are amongst a select few who have shown that we embody what the awards represent.

We are especially proud that the Indigenous Award category was created, and subsequently won, in 2007 as a direct result of us winning the first Banksia in 2006. This Indigenous category award has now been won (sometimes several times) by several Indigenous organisations across all of Australia. Well done everyone.
